Abstract

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) atau terapi perilaku kognitif adalah salah satu terapi yang digunakan untuk menangani perilaku-perilaku negatif yang  dilakukan oleh seseorang guna menghilangkan perilaku-perilaku tersebut. Saat ini, kecanduan gadget adalah hal yang sangat lumrah kita lihat terutama pada anak-anak, dimana kecanduan gadget dapat menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan di lingkungan masyarakat. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mencoba mencari tahu apa itu cognitive behavior therapy (cbt) dan melihat penelitian terdahulu terkait efektivitas cbt terhadap penganganan kecanduan gadget pada anak-anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model studi literatur review (SLR), pengumpulan data dengan mengumpulkan berbagai macam literatur terkait cognitive behavior therapy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cognitive behavior therapy harus mempertimbangkan berbagai aspek kehidupan individu, termasuk emosi, perilaku, kognisi, interaksi, dan faktor biologis. Dalam penerapan cognitive behavior therapy memiliki beberapa prinsip dan teknik dalam pengaplikasiannya.
