Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Numerasi Pada Materi Aritmatika Sosial Di Kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe team assisted individualization (TAI) terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi pada materi aritmatika sosial  di kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Dari populasi tersebut, yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-1 dan kelas VII-2 yang dianggap memiliki kemampuan kognitif yang sama. Dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling maka diperoleh sampel penelitian kelas eksperimen (VII-1) dan kelas kontrol (VII-2). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Maka berdasarkan hasil hitung pada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa menunjukkan bahwa nilai Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan perhitungan pada kelas eksperimen kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa mempunyai nilai rata-rata  71,80 dan pada kelas kontrol kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa mempunyai nilai rata-rata  59,30. maka dapat disimpulkan model kooperatif tipe team assisted individualization (TAI) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi pada aritmatika sosial di kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of team assisted individualisation (TAI) type cooperative model on numeracy literacy on social arithmetic material in class VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan. The research approach used is quantitative, this type of research is Quasi Experiment research. The population in the study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Medan consisting of 5 classes. From this population, the samples in this study were class VII-1 and class VII-2 which were considered to have the same cognitive abilities. By using random sampling technique, the research sample obtained experimental class (VII-1) and control class (VII-2). The instruments used were tests and observations. So based on the calculated results on students' mathematical critical thinking ability shows that the Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 at the 5% significance level. Based on the calculation in the experimental class the numeracy literacy ability of students has an average value of μ_1 = 71.80 and in the control class the numeracy literacy ability of students has an average value of μ_1 = 59.30. It can be concluded that the team assisted individualization (TAI) type cooperative model has an effect on numeracy literacy on social arithmetic in class VII SMP Negeri 13 Medan.
