Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Barang pada PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Powertrain System dengan Menggunakan Metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Abstract

PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Powertrain Systems is a manufacturing company specializing in automotive components production for two-wheelers. The study aims to determine material requirements for each product and establish an inventory control system using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method to achieve optimal production quantities. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing primary data obtained through interviews during the author's Internship II at PT Hitachi Astemo Bekasi Powertrain Systems. The analysis employs the MRP method to address inventory ordering issues. The findings suggest that the company may consider implementing MRP for controlling raw material inventory in the finished goods warehouse. Future research is recommended to consider costs in MRP calculations, explore differences arising from MRP usage, and compare with other methods such as EOQ and POQ for inventory control analysis.
