The Relationship Between Teacher Speaking Skills And Students' Responses To Them At The Bukit Tinggi State Islamic Elementary School
Abstract
This research is about the relationship between teacher speaking skills and students' responses to them at the Bukit Tinggi State Islamic Elementary School. Department of Arabic Language Education, College of Education and Learning, Bukit Tinggi State Islamic University.Problems in this research: Most teachers are skilled in Arabic and students are not fluent in Arabic. The research question is: Is there a relationship between teachers' speaking skills and students' speaking skills at Bukit Tinggi State Islamic Elementary School? To what extent is there a relationship between teachers' speaking skills and students' speaking skills in Government? Bukit Tinggi Islamic Elementary School? Meanwhile, for the research, the researcher used relational research, and the methodology used was a statistical approach because the researcher looked for a relationship between teacher speaking skills and students' speaking skills at the Bukit Tangi State Islamic Elementary School. The research population consisted of 5 teachers and 52 students, and the researchers took samples in this thesis using the Cluster Sampling Technique method. Then the research tools are observation and interviews. As for the results of this research, there is a positive average relationship between teachers' speaking skills and students' speaking skills at Bukit Tangi State Islamic Elementary School, because there is a positive relationship between the two. relationship (0.53), namely between 0.41 to 0.60 based on this. This shows that there is an average positive relationship between teacher speaking skills and students' speaking skills with a moderate level of relationship.
