School canteens are vital facilities that support a healthy learning environment in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This study aims to evaluate the conditions of healthy canteens in SMK and identify strategies to improve their quality. The evaluation results indicate that the nutritional information labels on food products sold are not consistently available, leading to a lack of education for students regarding healthy food choices. Additionally, the implementation of post-pandemic health protocols needs to be enhanced, with stricter supervision of the cleanliness of canteen staff. The school management has appointed a responsible person to oversee the procurement of food ingredients; however, the commitment level of canteen managers to health and nutrition standards remains low. Formal training related to food hygiene and sanitation for food managers and sellers is also lacking. The food sold is generally safe and clean, but the variety of nutritious menu options is still limited. This study recommends the need for training for canteen managers and the establishment of policies regarding food procurement to improve the quality of healthy canteens in schools
