This research examines the relationship between human rights and democratic values in the Indonesian constitution. It builds on research entitled “Human Rights Protection and Democratic Challenges in the Indonesian Legal System Based on Pancasila.” It aims to investigate three main aspects: (1) Democratic Principles as the Foundation of Human Rights Protection: How democratic concepts such as People's Sovereignty and Just and Civilized Humanity form the basis of human rights protection; (2) The Relationship between Human Rights and Democracy in Indonesian Law: Highlighting the relationship and mutual reinforcement between the two within the constitutional framework; (3) Strategies to Overcome Challenges in Harmonizing Human Rights and Democracy: Examines the obstacles to the integration of human rights and democracy in Indonesia. This research uses a descriptive approach to describe the processes, factors, actions and individuals involved. The findings show that Pancasila democracy incorporates human rights ideas such as People's Sovereignty and Just and Civilized Humanity.
